2007年10月，能猫商店诞生。能猫商店的名字灵感来源于喜喜小学作文的一次错别字。在喜喜看来，这是一个可爱的错误。

能猫商店一直关注于中国80年代--90年代这段时间的文化。旗下所属产品均保留了许多这个时代的印记。2007年12月，第一家以怀旧为主题的能猫商店在上海开业，颇受好评。各文化、时尚、潮流杂志对能猫商店专题报道。同时期，能猫商店服饰类产品在北京，成都，和重庆的潮流店发售，深受大家喜爱。

The name “Neng Mao”was one tiny misspelling of Panda in Chinese, which I made in elementary school. It always reminds me how silly but sweet childhood is. Now I make this little creature to life, hope to recall the “Growing Happiness” among us all.
China in the 80’s was a short, delicate and special era for us all, especially for the kids who were born during that period. nengmao is trying to follow the paths of the sweet memories of the past that we all shared: they might recall us of the old bicycles, the disco leggings, and the track suits that we’ve been wearing in school.
I have always been interested in chinese culture between the 80-90’s, thus a lof of the design i made for nengmao has a trace of that time.
Since 2007, the successful launching of the first nengmao store in shanghai, we are now also opened in Beijing, Chongqing, Chengdu, Taiyuan as well.
