作为北京当前首屈一指的美式民谣团队，The Randy Abel Stable的音乐里融合了乡村、蓝草、布鲁斯等多种元素。成军近两年来，乐队已经在北京的各大livehouse以充满能量，再加一点幽默感的方式，演绎了自己的作品，以及那些传唱百年，直指人心的传统民歌。
目前乐队的固定阵容为Randy Abel （主唱，口琴），Peter Schloss（班卓琴），Josh Dyer（吉他），Parker Trevathan（曼陀林）与刘于思（吉他），自2011年5月成立以来，已在愚公移山、D22、江湖、两个好朋友、热力猫与VA等北京知名音乐场所演出。在2012年北京City Weekend的年度最佳乐队评选中，乐队得到Honorable Mention奖项。目前乐队正在准备首张专辑《Stable Condition》的录制。
At the forefront of Beijing's acoustic music scene, The Randy Abel Stable plays a flammable, sometimes dangerous mix of high-octane bluegrass, country, honky tonk and blues. Known for their inspired live shows, The Randy Abel Stable has become a fixture on the Beijing bar and club circuit and has achieved a strong grassroots following among music fans who enjoy “stomping to originals, singing along to covers and generally appreciating [the group’s] antics” (BeijingDaze).
