Producer & MC Wang Zheng aka Qingming (1987.04.05-?) was born and raised in "easten Paris"Harbin which a northeast city of China.
Since 1995 I was dream on professional basketball, you know, during the decade of 1990s' my hometown full of "basketball dream"kids like me. I try to do my best but still can't get it, the dream finally broken on 2005, I quite Heilongjiang under20's team then start to college life.
My first memories of music have to start with my cousin, he had so many Taiwanese pop'shit tape collections, there is joke that my cousin can imitate his favor singer Jeff Chang and Qi Chin's intonation in their completed discography but never got his own music idea. When i was 15 my mother present a PC to me, since that time I got big big big change. Internet bring me jazz, hip-hop, soul, funk, reggae, fusion, i was down by black music, so I start make music in my high school and formed my own group-Tai Yang Dao. I made the beat, my partner named Jay Yoo as MC, he was my closed friend till now, we just like Pete Rock and C.L. Smooth. In the end of 2003 me and Jay Yoo publish two underground EPs, but not give to sensation. The group broken on 2004, it's nothing about our friendship, we still in a same brotherhood.
After a couple years I wasn't publish anything, just accumulated music mention all the while, learn from Donlad Byrd, Roy Ayers, Gil Scott-Heron, Cannonball Adderley, Herbie Hancock, Madlib, J Dilla, 9th Wonder, Pete Rock. The period subsequent to the learning, I decide to start my personal underground career with MPC2500+Turntable. All my talent is from 1970's old vinyl, I dig too deep from London to Tokyo, after that made the beat in my single room. the completed discography till now are 4 underground albums《行吟诗人 vol.1-4》genre lay special stress on jazzy-hip hop and electronica. Out of Basketball music has became my most important part in my life. Work in the day and make the music at night. I love this lifestyle... best music always from underground. Go on straight.
