谈判学习是商务英语培训的基础教学之一。在日常生活中,我们几乎每天都会进行商务谈判。小到买菜与人约时间,大到与公司客户谈合作谈项目。可见,掌握一定的商务谈判技巧对于我们每个人来说都是必不可少的,今天就学习一下商务英语培训之谈判。
下面,是几个不同类型的商业中的谈判例子:
manager and clerk: negotiating a promotion(经理和职员:升职谈判)
employer and potential employee: negotiating job benefits(雇主和潜在雇员:对工作福利进行谈判)
business partners A and B: making decisions about investments(业务伙伴A和B:对投资作出决定)
company A and company B: negotiating a merger(A公司和B公司:谈判合并)
customer and client: making a Sale(顾客和客户:销售)
谈判通常被称为一门“艺术”The Art of Negotiating,虽然有些人可能更善于谈判,但是,每个人都可以学习如何谈判。而且,正如他们在商业中经常说的,“一切都是可商谈的”。在谈判过程中,人们会使用一些技巧,例如:
aiming high (目标定的高一些)
visualizing the end results(将最终结果可视化)
treating one's opponent with respect and honesty(尊重并诚实地对待对手)
preparing ahead of time(提前准备)
exhibiting confidence(自信)

counterattack:present other side of an issue
Before we could start our counterattackthey suggested we sign a contract.
counterpart:person on the other side of the negotiations
I tried to close the discussions at noon, but my counterpart would not stop talking.

In the past I have had little respect for that client, but today she spoke cordially and listened to my point of view.
deadlock:point where neither party will give in
When the discussions came to a deadlock we wrote up a letter of intent to continue the negotiations next week.
dispute:argument/conflict
I was hoping to avoid discussing last year's dispute, but Monica is still holding a grudge.
dominate:have the most control/stronger presence
Max has such a loud voice, he tends to dominate the conversations.

My contract says that I am entitled to full benefits after six months of employment.

We have always been flexible in terms of your working hours.
haggling:arguing back and forth (often about prices)

hostility:long-term anger towards another

其实如果你目前的工作跟商务很有关系,或者将要从事商务,那么商务英语对你来讲就很重要吧.!!我当初读了ABC天下英语,他们的欧美外教都是有五、六年的教学经验,课前课后还有学习顾问回答问题,并追踪进度,是根据个人英语水平自己选择课程,而且这个学习起来很方便,不用你跑来跑去学习,可以通过一些新颖的学习模式来增加自己对英语学习的兴趣。如果是零基础,建议找欧美外教1对1学标准口语,打好基础是最快最有效果的,如果和口音不标准的外教学偏了,以后要调整就更麻烦了。现在英语可是跟我的工作可都是息息相关的啊!因为我基础不好,所以他们推荐我可以考虑他们的组合课程,中籍老师 + 欧美老师,3个月中教老师培养基本单词、音标、语法,然后再给欧美老师训练标准口语及思维方式。这是那时候的学习计划表!

这教学效果目前学起来是很不错,所以你也可以选择采用中教和欧美外教共同上课的方式,以外教为主,中教辅助,可以参考看看。还有就是,我的口语就是跟这家老师学习提高的,1:1的授课方式,他们家就不错好,不过一开始上课,跟外籍教师会挺别扭的,现在就很自然了。总而言之,再强调一次,要将英语口语学标准,这取决于外教资质,东南亚口音重,一定要找欧美籍,发音纯正才行,一定要多听听比较老师的差异性,避免学出奇怪口音。如果可以的话,你也可以自己安排去我学习的那家机构,和美籍老师测一下目前的英语水平,根据目前的水平,好为你自己安排适合的教程以及寻找合适的老师以及补习班。
