开金手指的狗血警匪故事。这种纽约时报畅销书榜作家的小说,特别是贴牌合著的,本质上和唐家三少之流作品没有本质区别。倒是朗读者模仿俄国黑帮的口音很带感。

James Patterson的书多数商业味很浓,整体确实狗血;但他认可贴牌的,基本保证故事不会讲砸,步步为营,不停制造悬念,像好莱坞片,纯属娱乐。这书的最大亮点,还在两个朗读者都不错。

书名翻译得很用心,Private Berlin原本是指柏林私家侦探,或柏林侦探事务所之意;“柏林面具人”其实是书中的大反派,颇有性格的凶手,朗读者也力求在朗读时表现其特色。
