    上海交响乐团室内乐以上交演奏员为主体演出阵容，是目前上海唯一定期举办的公益性室内乐音乐会。该室内乐演出最初由上交老团长黄贻钧先生倡导，始于1984年，1991起每周定期举办，至今已演出了逾千场音乐会，是目前上海唯一定期举办的公益性室内乐音乐会 。除上交演奏员广泛参与外，上交室内乐还积极邀请国内外知名音乐家及重奏组，同时也为世界各地优秀青年学子搭建演出平台，许多青年演奏家，如秦川、黄蒙拉、王之炅、龚天鹏等，都曾从这里走向国际舞台。高水平的演出、纯粹的音乐氛围已经成为我团室内乐的品质象征，这一方小小的音乐天地已成为沪上古典乐迷的聚集地。

    2012年，上交室内乐将打造由乐团乐队首席李沛领衔的“上交之星”系列音乐会，这批优秀的音乐家们在古典乐坛的影响力正在不断扩大，他们将逐一亮相，为广大观众提供更具活力、水平更高的音乐会。同时，我们还邀请到一些毕业于茱莉亚音乐学院并且在国际上赢得过诸多奖项的杰出演奏家为您带来“茱莉亚校友系列音乐会”。为了培养更多的音乐新人，我们更推出了“青年艺术家腾飞计划”系列音乐会，来自国内外著名音乐学院的优秀学子将登台我团室内乐音乐会，为您展现古典音乐明日之星的风采。

Shanghai Symphony Orchestra Chamber Concert, substantially relying on the musicians of the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra, is now still the only regular non-profit chamber concert in Shanghai. It was first launched in 1984 by Maestro Huang Yijun, the President of the orchestra. It has been a weekly event since 1991 and has now held more than 1000 concerts. With the essential partaking of the SSO musicians, SSO chamber concerts not only endeavors to provide music lovers with high-quality performances by inviting renowned musicians and ensembles, but also always provides young musicians with opportunities to perform. World-famous celebrity like Chuan Qin, Mengla Huang, Wang Zhijiong, Peng-Peng Gong began their career at the SSO Chamber Concert. The high-quality performances and the pure atmosphere of music have already become the emblem of the SSO chamber concert, which foregathers many philharmonics of the city.

In 2012, Shanghai Symphony Orchestra Chamber Concert will launch several new concert series. SSO All-Star features excellent musicians from Shanghai Symphony Orchestra, led by its Concertmaster Li Pei and other section principals. Juilliard Alumni Concert Series features award-winning graduates from the legendary Juilliard School. Young Artists Program features budding students from top music schools home and abroad.
