Join us in welcoming Alpine Decline
, a fresh-off-the-proverbial-boat noise rock duo from LA that has recently decided to call Beijing home. The band started in 2010 and in that short time has released three albums — spaced-out, feedback-dripping, copiously tape-echoing guitar+drum jams made as offerings at the altar of Les Rallizes Dénudés.
Having finally retrieved their gear from Chinese customs — who suspected their tape spools to contain state secrets — Alpine Decline will make their Beijing debut on Saturday, November 12th at D-22
along with pangbianr favorite Mr. Ray
(playing their last show of the year), slow-burning post-rockers Streets Kill Strange Animals
, and Shanghai one-man-noise machine Reykjavictim/炸脖龙
. Tickets are 50元 (40 for students) and things will kick off around 9:30 pm.
