蒙古国流行摇滚乐队The Colors (颜色)成立于2010年。乐队选用这个名称寓意希望能成为蒙古音乐的新色彩并以此拥抱世界。有乐评人曾说，他们的音乐如此阳光灿烂乃至让我们怀疑乌兰巴托是否位于某个热带地区，而并并非坐落在亚洲的大草原上。乐队成立不久，他们就赢得了White Arch唱片公司于2013年举办的乐队大赛并成功签约，发行了《Mr Pigeon, what year is today?》。这张作品让他们不但收获了大量本国粉丝，也赢得了俄罗斯、韩国等地的乐迷并开始更加频繁的演出。如今他们几乎快变成了蒙古最大音乐节Play Time Festival的驻场乐队，也经常出国参演各大音乐节。甚至在各蒙古电视台的音乐综艺节目中也常见他们的身影。2018年他们作为突出的约创摇滚乐队参加了“蒙古好声音”，广受好评。2013年他们在“UBS”视频大奖上得到了三项提名、《Beehype》杂志推举他们的单曲《Light Within》为2015年度最佳歌曲，去年刚问世的《I am Falling Into The Sky》黑胶EP现已售空。他们是本国公认的最佳流行摇滚乐队。此次的小规模中国巡演将路过北京、杭州和上海，同时也是为参加著名的美国德州“SXSW”音乐节做热身。
The Colors is a Mongolian indie rock band, founded in 2010. The name The Colors was invented by the musicians in the hope of becoming a new color not only of the Mongolian but also of the world music industry. Critics write that their music is so sunny that it seems that Ulaanbaatar is in some tropical country, not in Central Asia. Leading up to their winning performance in “White Arch Studios Spot Light” contest in 2013, they had already become synonymous with the youth of Ulaanbaatar. Their contract with the White Arch Studio allowed them to create their first album, titled “Mr Pigeon, what year is today?”. Since then they have continued to gain popularity with performances in Russia, Korea and the well-known Mongolian music festival, Playtime. Currently, they have just completed another EP “I am Falling Into The Sky” which would be sold in vinyl. As the first band to release vinyl EP since 1986, it marks a special occasion in Mongolian history of music.
