Hope your Spring Festival was pretty good. Our was heaps good, thanks for asking. F ate her body weight in food the very first night of the holiday and I had lunch with Keira Knightley. Photo proof: http://tinyurl.com/662w334
Douban changed up their world and made it impossible for us to send this to your inbox. At first I thought that was pretty shit, but thinking about it, it means awful bands like us can’t spam you with trash. So this blog will have to do. It’s nicer that way, anyway. Who really cares what a band says? Bands don’t say too much interesting. Get rid of them.
We got 50 copies of our 7” vinyl which is pretty cool. Hong Kong label Metal Postcard (metalpostcard.com) is putting them out and they’ll be available in London, New York, Sydney and Hong Kong. It’s called J.Pope / Joe P. and has four songs from our CD on it.
They’re free o’course, so if you want one, send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org
We won’t be mailing it out though as the people in the post office hate my guts and hide whenever I come in. Fair enough. I get that reaction at most places.
We’re going back to Hong Kong on March 5th to launch the 7” there. Liam will most likely be there, so we’ll haunt him for awhile and then hang out in the airport bookstore with the other cool kids.
We’re definitely maybe possible confirmed kind of sort of 100% recording our next CD in June this year. So far it’s looking like it will have 10 songs on it. Please note, we did not say 10 good songs, we just said songs. We’re going for quantity over quality. It might have more, it might have less. But you can watch a video of us playing two new songs in the studio here:http://v.youku.com/v_show/id_XMjQ0NTUxNTMy.html
The first song is called ‘five kuai’ and the second is called ‘Christmas’. We’re hoping that in the vein of Carsick Cars song Zhong Nan Hai, instead of throwing cigarettes people could throw five kuai notes on the stage when we play it. Clearly we’re financial geniuses.
The studio we practice in is called Left Rock and is pretty ace. Their number is 13122719877
Here are our next shows.
If we owe you money, please don’t come to these places on these dates. Or you can come in once we play ‘five kuai’ as we might have some money then.

We’ll be getting our creep on in Beijing sometime soon as well. Also, we’ll probably go to Guangzhou sometime this year. No idea when or how or what, but would be a fun time. Summer there would burn my brain out. Wuhan was bad enough last Summer. Wet blankets and ruined armpits.
Oh yup, some awesome Australian and New Zealand bands are coming to China this year. This Town Touring (http://site.douban.com/thistowntouring/
) will be doing a lot of the booking and all that crap. All aboard.
That’ll do pig.
