Lyon Apprentice’ 由兄弟俩Adam和Nathan Lyons组成. 在昆士兰州北边长大随后搬去黄金海岸的两人，同时对音乐表示出由衷的兴趣。这浓厚的爱好指引他们为Nathan的毕业典礼写出了人生的第一首歌。但是由于种种原因，一直到很多年之后Adam和Nathan才能继续他们对音乐的追求。
兄弟俩在13年二月去了凯恩斯， 一个澳洲东边的小镇，联手Mark Myers (曾为The Middle East, Emma Louise制作专辑) 打造他们的首张单曲专辑。后期的混音则有Catherine Marks(曾为Foals, Death Cab For Cutie做后期混音)在其伦敦的Assault & Buttery录音室为他们量身定做。
乐队最初的单曲 ‘Beautiful Thought’ 和 'I Will Find You' 展示出他们独特的民谣式旋律。乐队在2014年4月4日发布了自己的首张单曲专辑‘Be Honest, Be Wild, Be Free’，其中单曲‘Be Careful' 成为很多乐迷的最爱.
Lyon Apprentice早期的巡演有众多优秀乐队帮他们暖场， 例如：Bear’s Den, Big Scary, Battleships, Nantes, Glass Towers, Cub Sport 以及Buchanan。2013年乐队不仅出现在昆州的Bleach音乐节，并在新加坡登上音乐届头条为乐迷献上一场难忘的演出。
‘Lyon Apprentice’ is two brothers Adam & Nathan Lyons. Growing up in north Queensland before relocating to the Gold Coast, they both shared an interest for music from a young age. This led them to writing their first song together for Nathans school graduation, though it wasn't until years later that they would continue what they started.
The duo traveled to Cairns in February last year teaming up with Mark Myers (The Middle East, Emma Louise) to co-produce their debut EP which was mixed by Catherine Marks (Foals, Death Cab For Cutie) at Assault & Battery Studios in London.
First singles ‘Beautiful Thought’ & 'I Will Find You' are an introduction to their melodic brand of indie folk. ‘Be Careful' is the latest offering off their five track EP ‘Be Honest, Be Wild, Be Free’ due for release on April 4th, 2014.
The early stages of their live show has included supporting Bear’s Den, Big Scary, Battleships, Nantes, Glass Towers, Cub Sport, Buchanan, a spot on Bleach Festival (2013) and a headline show in Singapore.
