Dear friends and colleagues, We are delighted to announce the new edition of The Shelves! The Shelves is a series of four online presentations of ancient philosophy volumes recently published by CUP, organised by our group in collaboration with Cambridge University Press Philosophy and Cambridge University Press - History, Classics and Archaeology. This year we'll have the pleasure to present two studies on Plato - Voula Tsouna's study on the "Charmides" and David Ebrey's volume on the "Phaedo" -, Brad Inwood's Sourcebook on Later Stoicism and the New Cambridge Companion to Plotinus, edited by Lloyd Gerson and James Wilberding. Discussants include Alexandra Michalewski, Anna Motta, Vanessa de Harven, Suzanne Obdrzalek, Raphael Woolf and Alex Long. All sessions will be held online and CUP will offer a discount on the volume purchase to those who will attend the sessions.
